Grade 9 students were taken to excursion at Trishuli Hydropower plant in Trishuli, Nuwakot on Magh 29, 2073. Main objective of this excursion was to make the students familiar with the concept of conservation of energy and conversion of energy from one form to another. Students learnt about the working principle of hydropower plant, basic components such as water turbine, alternator, reservoir, generation of electricity in hydropower plant and practical application of Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction.
